Pompeii What to visit guest House Dream Night

Pompei Scavi

You cannot absolutely miss an tour throughout Pompei during your holiday at Guest House Night Dream.

Pompei Ruins are one of the most important and fascinating  archeological sites in the world. Vesuvius, during its eruption in August 79 A.D., buried the Ancient Pompei under a layer of lava and ash. The excavations have unearthed the perfectly preserved Roman city. Most of its inhabitants died stifled and then buried by lapilli that immured their bodies at the same time of their death. Walking through the Ancient Pompei, you can visit the Forum, the temple dedicated to Zeus Capitolino and Apollo’s Temple; furthermore it is interesting to visit the shops of that time such as laundries or barber shops. In a side street you will find the Lupanare, the ancient brothel full of erotic paintings. Also worth seeing is The Villa of the Mysteries with the “red room”, a living room with a fresco representing an initiation into sacred to Dionysus.
